Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC) was established in 1977 in Kanuru Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh as a private institute in an area of sprawling 24.05 acres in a serene green atmosphere to nurture excellence in all engineering departments by imparting value-based education to the students and becoming a center of excellence in the world. It is the first private college in the united Andhra Pradesh to offer PG programs and has got autonomous status since 2006. How to Get Admission at VRSEC

For UG Course: Admissions are given in both the Convenor Category (70% of seats) and Management Category (30% of seats). In Convenor Category, candidates who passed the +2 exam or equivalent to any other recognized exam with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) need to take and clear the EAPCET/EAMCET entrance examination conducted by Andhra Pradesh state and should participate in Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and choose VRSEC as their first preference to get admission to the UG courses at this institution. In the management category, 15% of seats are allocated to NRI students, and admission is based on the merits in the qualifying exams.

For PG Course: The candidates who passed the UG degree in the respective stream with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) or an equivalent grade on a 10-point CGPA scale need to take and clear the GATE/AP PGCET exam and choose VRSEC as their first preference in the counseling conducted by the APSCHE to get admission to the PG course at this institution.
