Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research (VFSTR) was recognized in 2009 as a private university, however, it had been functioning as part of Vignan Engineering College since 1999 at Vadlamudi near Guntur Andhra Pradesh in a 43 acres area campus by the initiative of Dr. Lavu Rathaiah in a green serene atmosphere to bridge the gap between industries need and engineers who are the responsible for the development of the nation despite in all odds.
