Prof. Vel. Dr. R. Rangarajan & Dr. Sagunthala Rangarajan to give education for all despite their financial means which will promote and uplift society. It was accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council. Initially, it was affiliated with the University of Madras and its courses were approved by AICTE New Delhi, however, in 2001, it was affiliated with Anna University. In 2008, it was declared as a deemed university by the Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India.
