Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology shortly known as Vel Tech was founded in 1997 in Avadi, Chennai, Tamilnadu in an area of 103 acres as a Private Technical Institution by Col. Prof. Vel. Dr. R. Rangarajan & Dr. Sagunthala Rangarajan to give education for all despite their financial means which will promote and uplift society. It was accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council.
