St. Joseph’s College of Engineering (SJCE) was established as a Christian minority institution under the general rules of the Government of Tamilnadu in 1994 on Old Mahabalipuram Road Sholinganallur Kancheepuram under the aegis of Jeppiaar Educational Trust in an area of 25 acres under a serene sea breezing atmosphere to create engineers for the industry requirement of Tamilnadu and India. It is an autonomous and AICTE-approved institution affiliated with Anna University Chennai.

For UG Course: Candidates who passed or appeared in the 10+2 exam with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their subjects with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply, and admission is given based on the rank in the TNEA counseling conducted by Anna University.
