Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) was established as a private institution in 1994 in Coimbatore Tamilnadu in an area of 42 acres in a tender and tenacious atmosphere by SNR Sons Charitable Trust to be an internationally recognized technological institution with schools of excellence in various disciplines and a co-existent center for providing engineering solution to international clients. It has industrial collaboration with L&T, Bi-Metal Bearings, Roots Industries, and Tech Mahindra. It is an autonomous and one of seventeen SNR Sons Charitable Institutions affiliated with Anna University and whose seven BE/B.Tech programs are accredited by the NBA. It was accredited with an “A” grade by the NAAC and approved its courses by the AICTE.

How to Get Admission at SREC

For UG Course: Candidates who passed the +2 exam or equivalent to any other recognized exam with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for BC/BC Muslims, 40% for MBC/DNC, SC/SCA/ST) are eligible to apply for the UG courses at this institution and admission is given based on TNEA single-window counseling by Anna University. 

For PG Course: Candidates who passed the UG degree in the respective stream with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) need to take the TANCET/GATE exam and should get a valid rank/score to get admission to the PG courses, and admission is given through the TANCA counseling by Anna University.

Fee Structure at SREC

The student needs to pay approximately Rs. 2.2 lakhs as total fees for the UG course at SREC, however, the saving grace is they can get a decent salary of Rs. 4.2 LPA at top companies, so they get back this amount in a year.
