For UG courses at SIT: A candidate who has passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks (40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC) aggregate in Physics and Mathematics (as compulsory subjects) along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics (as optional subjects) in the qualifying examination is eligible to take CET/COMED-K/JEE and should clear it for admission to UG course. Note: The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Electronics in the qualifying examination are considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry are less to obtain the required aggregate percentage for admission eligibility.

For PG courses: Candidate who has passed a bachelor’s degree in a respective stream with 50% (45% marks in the case for Karnataka SC/ST candidates) in all the years/semester is eligible to get admission into PG courses, however, candidates who got valid GATE/PGCET score will get preference over non-GATE/PGCET candidates.
