Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) previously known as Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College was established in 1984 as a private institution by Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti Trust in Nagpur, an orange city of India, Maharashtra in an area of 13 acres in a perfect placid atmosphere to produce the engineers with sincerity and dedication to the development of the nation. For UG courses at RCOEM: For Maharashtra candidates: passed the +2 exam or any other equivalent recognized exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of backward class categories, economically weaker section and persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) overall in these three subjects and they should have appeared in all subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain a non-zero positive score in that exam. And for candidates from other than Maharashtra: they need to take and score positive marks in JEE (Main) or MHT-CET exams, however, preference is given to those candidates who scored non-zero positive marks in JEE (main) over candidates who scored non-zero positive marks in MHT-CET.
