Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) was established in 1997 in Thandalam Sriperumbudur near Chennai Tamilnadu as an autonomous private technical institution in an area of 23 acres in a perfect placid atmosphere under the aegis of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust whose members have had in-depth experience in the fields of education and industry. It aims to be an institution of excellence in engineering, technology, and management education & research and to provide competent and ethical professionals with a social conscience. How to Get Admission at REC Chennai

For UG courses at REC: Candidates who passed the +2 exam in both academic and vocational streams with 50% aggregate marks (45% for BC, 40% for MBC, and just pass for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for UG programs, and candidates are admitted based on single window counseling allotted by Anna University through Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
