Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) was established in 1997 in Thandalam Sriperumbudur near Chennai Tamilnadu as an autonomous private technical institution in an area of 23 acres in a perfect placid atmosphere under the aegis of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust whose members have had in-depth experience in the fields of education and industry.
