PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research (PSG iT) started in 2014 in Coimbatore by PSG and Sons in Coimbatore Tamilnadu in an area of 45 acres in a serene sylvan atmosphere as a private institution to empower youths through technical education. It aims to the effective transfer of knowledge through innovative pursuance of the course to mold the students to responsible citizens for society and the nation. It is one of the PSG and Sons Institution whose courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

How to Get Admission at PSG iT Coimbatore

For UG courses at PSG iT: Candidates who passed the +2 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in these subjects together. However, diploma candidates are also admitted to first-year PG courses if they pass the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the case seats in the lateral entry are exhausted.
