P E S College of Engineering (PESCE) was established in 1962 in the southwest of Mandya Karnataka on Bangalore-Mysore Highway in an area of 62 in a serene sylvan atmosphere by People’s Education Society, now People’s Education Trust, formed by Philanthropist Sri K.V. Shankara Gowda, with help of philanthropists Mandya Farmers to give the technical education to the rural areas. It is a grant-in-aid institution of the Karnataka Government whose courses are approved by the AICTE and is now affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University from Mysore University then.
