How to Get Admission at JUIT Solan

For UG courses at JUIT: Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam or any other recognized exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry Computer Science, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics and Business Studies with 60% total marks (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for UG courses, however, admission is given those who got a valid JEE Main score (50% seats) and those who had merit in the qualifying exam (other 50% seats).

For PG courses: The candidates who passed the UG degree need to take the GATE exam for admission to PG courses, however, for non-GATE candidates, JUIT conducts the postgraduate entrance test (PGET) for admission to PG courses.
