How to Get Admission at IEM Kolkata

For UG Courses: Candidates who passed the +2 exam in the science stream need to take WBJEE/JEE (Main) and should clear it for admission to the UG course at this institution. Admissions to 90% of the total seats are given through WBJEE online counseling and the remaining 10% of seats are given through JoSSA counseling for JEE (Main).

For PG Courses: Candidates who passed the UG degree in the respective stream or MSc., Computer Science/Computer Applications/Mathematics need to take and clear PGET conducted by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Technical University and participate in counseling conducted by IEM to get admission to the PG course at IEM.
