How to Get Admission at CEC Punjab

For UG courses at CEC: Candidates who passed the +2 exam or any other equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology are eligible to apply, however, candidates who have JEE main score/rank for Punjab domicile and candidates from other states through online counseling from PTU Jalandhar are admitted to UG courses. Besides this, candidates with any engineering stream from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) or Punjab State Board Technical Education or any other state board technical education or two-year certificate course from SLIET are eligible for admission to UG courses.

For PG courses: Candidates who passed UG degree in the relevant stream with a minimum of 50% are eligible, however, candidates who got a valid GATE score/rank are given preferences over merit in the qualifying exam.
