Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune (BVUCOE Pune) was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in Pune Maharashtra in 1983 to bring out intellectual awakening of people through the spread of education and to prepare human resources needed for all-round development, particularly the economy of the country. However, its predecessor, Bharati Vidyapeeth was established in 1964 at Pune street.
