Anurag University was established in 2020 in Hyderabad Telangana in an area of over 50 acres in a serene atmosphere as a private university as per the law passed at Telangana Assembly to create well-qualified engineers, however, it had been started with Lalitha Degree College offering BA, BSc., and BCom in 1998 by the Gayatri Educational and Cultural Trust which was established in 1990 and CVSR College of Engineering had been started in 2002. And then it started colleges in Pharmacy and added up PG courses in its institutions. In 2002, all Anurag Group of Institutions were amalgamated, and formed all campuses integrated under one umbrella. In 2011, it was affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), and after three years, in 2014, it got an autonomous status from JNTU. It is a UGC-approved institution whose courses are approved by the AICTE and accredited with an “A” by the NAAC.
