The National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh (NIT Arunachal Pradesh) was started in 2010 at a temporary campus in Yupiaas, Papumpare, Arunachal Pradesh as a member of a group of ten new NITs. However, its permanent campus is under construction at Jote, Papumpare in a lusty green environment with an area of sprawling 301 acres.
