National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) started as a regional engineering college in 1959 in Kazipet, Warangal in a serene sylvan atmosphere, however, in 2002, it was elevated as a deemed university and renamed as National Institute of Technology to impart a quality technical education and create the well-qualified professionals with entrepreneurial skills and social responsibility who are able to face the challenges from the world of technology.
