National Institute of Technology Manipur (NIT Manipur 2021) was established in 2010 by the Government of India at a temporary campus in Takyelpat, Imphal Manipur to impart quality technical education at various levels of higher learning for students from Manipur, northeastern India, and also rest of India. It has a present campus at Langol in the western part of Imphal in an area of 341 acres in the greeny surrounding. It is one of the ten new NITs established and declared as Institutes of National Importance by an act of Parliament in 2012.

How to Get Admission at NIT Manipur

For UG courses at NIT Manipur: Students who passed or appeared for the +2 exam can take Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and should get the minimum cut-off mark/rank required at this institution. Admissions are given through JoSSA counseling.
