YMCA University of Science & Tech (Formerly YMCA Institute of Engineering) (YMCA UST) was established in 1969 in Faridabad, Haryana by the Government of Haryana, the national council of YMCA of India, and the Central Agency of Development Aid Bonn East Germany in an area of 20 acres in a lusty green serene atmosphere to impart technical education in German pattern by setting up labs and workshops with the assistance of Germany. It is also called J C Bose University of Science & Technology after the famous Indian Scientist J C Bose who was the first in the world to invent the transmission of radio waves without any median before Italian Scientist Marconi did. However, it was taken over by the Government of Haryana in 1996 to enrich it to produce more technical professionals for the state, and in 2009, it was granted a deemed university status for excellence in the field of education.

How to Get Admission at YMCA UST Faridabad

For UG courses at YMCA UST: Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) aggregate in the above subjects, and admission is given through HSTES counseling or instruction/guidelines issued by HSTES.
