Accessibility

As RGIPT is in Amethi, one of the industrial cities in Uttar Pradesh, therefore it has a good transport system along with a railway station. However, it doesn’t have an airport though it is available in Lucknow. How to Get Admission at RGIPT Amethi

For UG Courses at RGIPT: Candidate who passed the +2 exam or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST candidate) needs to take and get a required JEE (Advanced) score/rank to get admission to UG courses at this institution. (Candidates who have color blindness are not admitted to BE Petroleum Engineering but they are admitted to BE Chemical Engineering.)

For PG Courses: The candidate who passed the UG degree from any AICTE-approved institution with at least 60% marks or 6.0 on a 10-point CPI scale (55% marks or 5.5% CPI for SC/ST candidate) need to take the GATE and get a required GATE score/rank (or be sponsored candidates with at least two-year experience with assurance from their employers stating that they will bear all expenses during this period and allow them to continue the job after compilation of the course) and shortlisted candidate based on merits in the qualifying exam and GATE score (sponsored-candidates are exempted from taking GATE) are invited for interview and admitted based on merit.
