As RGIPT is in Amethi, one of the industrial cities in Uttar Pradesh, therefore it has a good transport system along with a railway station. For UG Courses at RGIPT: Candidate who passed the +2 exam or any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST candidate) needs to take and get a required JEE (Advanced) score/rank to get admission to UG courses at this institution. (Candidates who have color blindness are not admitted to BE Petroleum Engineering but they are admitted to BE Chemical Engineering.)
