Pondicherry Engineering College (PEC) (now Puducherry Technological University) was established in 1984 as a state public institution funded by the Government of Pondicherry under the 7th five-year plan of the Government of India. How to Get Admission at PEC Pondicherry
For UG courses at PEC: Candidates who passed the +2 exam or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 75% of marks with a JEE Main score/rank are admitted to UG courses, and admission is given through Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) of the Government of Pondicherry.
For PG courses: Candidates who passed UG degree in the relevant stream from AICTE approved Institutions or equivalent to any other university or authority considered as equivalent thereto with 60% marks or an equivalent grade on a CGPA scale and got 75% marks in the +2 qualifying exam with a valid GATE rank/score are admitted to PG courses, and admission is given through CENTAC-PG.
