How to Get Admission at BIT Ranchi

For UG courses at BIT Ranchi: Admissions are given based on All India Ranks obtained by candidates in JEE Main and seats are allotted through Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

For PG courses: Admission is based on (a) both GATE scores which have the weightage of 80% and academic performance which has the weightage of 20% for the candidates who have taken the GATE exam and (b) both interview which has 20% weightage and academic performance which has 80% weightage for the candidates who do not take the GATE exam.
